These carrots are sweet, buttery, and delicious. Try these carrots if your child does not like vegetables. My son who will not east very many vegetables loves to eat these carrots.

Recipe steps:
Ingredients needed
1 pound bag of peeled baby carrots
1/3 cup sugar
½ teaspoon salt
Pinch pepper
3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
2 cups of water
Place all of the ingredients into the boiler or saucepan. Place the boiler or saucepan on high heat. Bring the carrots to a boil.
Turn the heat down to medium and cover with a lid. Cook for about 1 hour until the carrots are tender. Check the carrots every 15 minutes to make sure the liquid is not totally gone. If liquid starts to boil over out of the pot, either turn down the heat a little or move the lid slightly where there is a small gap showing to let steam escape.
To tell if the carrots are tender. Stick a fork in one of the carrots. If the fork goes in easily, then the carrots are tender. If the fork does not easily go into one of the carrots, add ½ cup of additional water and cook for another 20 minutes. Check the carrots about every 10 minutes.
Once the carrots are tender and the liquid is almost gone, remove the lid and stir the carrots frequently until they start to brown. If you do not constantly watch them at this stage, they may burn.
Once the carrots are slightly browned, remove from the boiler and serve immediately. The finished carrots will look slightly browned and have a nice butter sugar glaze on them.
