This Awesome Muppets Balloons Cake was made by Edible Art by Kate. This amazing cake won 2nd place in the 2012 Threadcake contest. The cake has Kermit holding onto a bunch of Muppets balloons that have faces like Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Beaker, Janice, Animal, Dr.Bunsen Honeydew, Swedish Chef, Scooter, Rowlf the Dog, Zoot, Uncle Deadly, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, Seymour the Elephant, and Sam Eagle. This is the largest group of Muppet characters that I have ever seen on a cake. All figures were made using fondant. The cake design was based on a t-shirt design. A threaded rod was used to support the entire cake. The cake is chocolate hazelnut with Belgium buttercream frosting.
