Do you believe in magic, in a young girl’s heart?
How the music can free her, whenever it starts
And it’s magic, if the music is groovy
It makes you feel happy like an old-time movie
I’ll tell you about the magic and it’ll free your soul
But it’s like tryin’ to tell a stranger ’bout rock and roll
I know that the Lovin Spoonful’s classic is about music, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this cake. This Tinker Bell Cake, made by Butterfly Dream Cakes, is just so gorgeous! Tinker Bell should look magical and this cake succeeds at that big time.
This was a 12th birthday cake. The cake was a four layered chocolate orange sponge cake. It sounds like the cake was as delicious as it is beautiful.
Having a light green cake with dark green accents is a terrific design choice. The light green compliments Tinker Bell and doesn’t overpower her. The dark green is almost the exact same shade as Tinker Bell’s dress, so it really make her stand out. The pink and white flowers go perfect with the light green cake. The green and white ribbon matches the color scheme of the cake perfectly.
The figure of Tinker Bell is wonderful. The detail on her face and wings is amazing. I love the vein pattern on the wings.
Tinker Bell even has tiny earing that sparkle and the little white pom-poms on the end of her shoes. I really like how Tinker Bell has the same pink and white flowers as are on the cake.
The toadstool is perfect. The texture and color of it is so lovely.
