I made these Jack Skellington Cake Pops for my daughter’s 18th birthday. When I saw Jack Skellington Christmas Cake Pops on Disney Family, I just had to make them for my daughter. I purchased two red and white baskets and placed / wedged 2 large sheets of styrofoam into the baskets for the cake pops to stick into. I covered the styrofoam with red paper confetti. I found it is best to put on part of the confetti before placing the cake pops. Put in the cake pops and then fill in the bare spots with the remaining red confetti. I used six inch sticks for the cake pops so they would stick up over the confetti. Jack Skelington’s red Santa hat was made using a Hershey’s kiss covered in red candy melts. The white fur on the hat and the white ball at the end of the hat were piped on using white melted candy coating. A black edible marker was used to draw Jack eyes, nose, and mouth. Red and white cake pops were made from chocolate and red velvet cake and covered in white and red candy melts. Happy Birthday and 18 were written using an edible marker. These Disney Nightmare Before Christmas cake pops were a big hit at the teen birthday party.
