This adorable Hello Kitty Cinderella Cake was made by Sugar Sweet Cakes & Treats. Angela made this cute cake and cupcakes for her 5 year old niece who loves both Hello Kitty and Cinderella.
The cake is a tall, 6 inch round chocolate cake decorated in Satin Ice Fondant in a quilt design studded with purple sugar pearls / dragees and swags accented with a small, pink flower blossom. Hello Kitty is sculpted out of Rice Krispies Treats and modeling chocolate and stands at about 6 inches high.
The detail on Hello Kitty’s dress is wonderful. The beadwork around the neck and front of the dress is terrific. The purple flowers at her waist are a nice touch because they are the same color as the cake that Hello Kitty is standing on. I like how she has a crown because she is a princess, but she still has her bow because she is Hello Kitty.
The bow on the back of the dress is very pretty. I really like the little pleats at the bottom of the dress. They make the dress look even more elegant.
Angela made purple, lavender and blue cupcakes to match the cake. The glass slippers were hand made with gumpaste, dusted in pearl dust, and accented with baby blue disco dust.
