Wow!!!! This stunning Star Destroyer Cake was made by Catcakes. Catcakes is located in Villanueva del Pardillo, Madrid.
The detail on this Star Destroyer is mindboggling. The is an extra large carved cake. The only part which isn’t cake is the very top of the Star Destroyer, that was made from hand sculpted fondant.

I really like how the sides and back of the cake are just as intricately detailed as the front.
As I’ll talk about more on Wednesday’s post, I am a big fan of Timothy Zahn’s Thrawn Trilogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising, and The Last Command). So my favorite Star Destroyer is The Chimaera commanded by Gilad Pellaeon.

The Chimaera was an Imperial II-class Star Destroyer of the Imperial Navy that served for over 40 years and fought during the Galactic Civil War, the Yuuzhan Vong War and the Second Galactic Civil War. Under command of the famous Grand Admiral Thrawn, it led the Chiss admiral’s fleet during his brilliant campaign against the New Republic. In the following years, it became the flagship of the Imperial Remnant under Gilad Pellaeon. The Empire lost the Chimaera following the Yuuzhan Vong War when it was severely damaged. The starship was eventually recovered by former Imperial Admiral Natasi Daala who made it the flagship of her private fleet, the Maw Irregular Fleet.
