This cool Spider-Man Cake was made by Art Cake. Jane is master at making cakes with backdrops. I really like the way the image on the backdrop stretches over the top and side of the cake as well. Having the cake sit on a board which is reflective makes it look like the image also spills over onto the cake board. The picture used for the background taken from above a group of skyscrapers at night. Spider-Man is laying on the flat top of the cake but because of the image it looks like he is climbing one of these skyscappers. It is a wonderful optical effect. I also like how they painted the name and age of the birthday child as neon signs on two of the skyscrappers.
