Mickey and Minnie Chocolate Heart and how to instructions.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

This Adorable Mickey and Minnie Chocolate Heart was made by Momo’s Obentou. This baker gives wonderful step by step directions in Japanese on how to make this Disney heart.  I have included abbreviated instructions in English.  Please take a look at her site to see more detailed instructions.

Place a piece of cellophane on top of a picture of Minnie and Mickey

 Use bamboo stick dipped in chocolate to draw lines for eyelashes.

Continue to draw the outlines of Mickey, Minnie including their eyes, eyelashes and face and body outlines.

surround Minnie and Mickey with a pink heart outline using pink candy melts.

Use black candy melts to fill in Mickey and Minnie’s ears, head, nose, and shirt. Use red candy melts for the bow, dress, and shorts and the heart. Use white chocolate for the rest of the faces and the hands.

Fill in all the spaces inside the pink heart with white chocolate.

Put on a layer of white chocolate over everything.

The finished heart with the plastic on top.  Just remove the plastic and the heart is ready.
