Steampunk Cake

This Wonderful Man and the Sea steampunk cake was made by Cecilia Lim-Foster of Cecilia Lim-Foster.

This Marvelous cake was created for the Steam Cakes – Steampunk Collaboration. To celebrate the Steampunk International Day, Cake Artists from around the world gathered to create their own edible Steampunk masterpieces.

This cake looks like a man perched on the top of the mast of a ship where the rest of the ship has sunk beneath the waves. The man is the lookout of the ship. He is wearing a horned helmet that has metal gears on it. There are intricately designed gears in front of him.

Merman Steampunk Cake

This Merman Steampunk Cake was made by Daniel Dieguez of Daniel Dieguez / Cake Artist.

The merman has five metal rings with a pearl in the center on his tail and his tail is copper colored to have an almost metallic finish. His hair is blue and he is wearing a crown that compliments the other rings. There are fish swimming around him and green, white, and red seaweed below him. If you look closely you can see an oyster with a large pearl.

Mermaid steampunk cake

This Mechanical Mermaid Steampunk Cake was made by Rita Cannova of La torte di Clari.

Here is Rita’s description of this amazing cake:

I thought to take steampunk style just under the sea and I thought about how a mermaid could be transformed into a steampunk one: a mechanical mermaid! The thing I had much fun to imagine in a steampunk way was the fin that I changed into a propeller. Made with: Saracino sugar paste Innovative Sugarworks sugarshapers and brushes Rainbow Dust Colours @TLook tool
