I made this semi-naked wedding cake for a wedding shower. The cake is a butter cake with almond. It has a strawberry buttercream filling with a strawberry gelee.
This cake is a two-tiered cake with three separate rose bouquets. There is a small piece of rosemary to accent the roses. The two types of pink roses work well together.
I made the cake board and covered it in white fondant with white ribbon around the edges.
