I’ve been doing a mini-marathon of lovely cakes made by Corina Venegas, Pasteles de azúcar for the last few days. Here is her wonderful Yoda Cake. Like the Baby Moana Cake I featured yesterday, Yoda is made from cut out pieces of fondant. This gives Yoda depth and texture and results in a gorgeous cake. The use of color on this cake is fantastic. Yoda is a green which doesn’t stand out. So, Corina made the cake black. Plus, Yoda’s lightsaber is the same green. Even the ribbon around the cake board is almost the exact same shade of green. All these elements work together to make Yoda look terrific.
