This wonderful Popeye 1st Birthday Cake was made by Patty Cakes Tasty Bakes. This is a three tier cake. The bottom tier is ocean blue and has a rope around it. In the center is the classic Navy anchor. The second layer is white and has life savers on it. The top layer is red and has a ship’s wooden steering wheel in the center. On the top of the cake is Popeye. He is standing on a tiny piece of wood and squeezing a can of spinach.
This Popeye Cake topper is absolutely fantastic. In the cartoons, whenever Popeye squeezed a can of spinach a geyser of it would shoot out and land in his mouth. I love that the topper captures that moment perfectly.
