Happy Halloween!
Hope you have a monstrously good day.
When I saw these amazing Universal Monsters Pumpkins created by Robert Kriess of Carved In Kin, I knew that I wanted to share them on Halloween.
Here is Bela Lugosi as Count Dracula. The photo realism on these pumpkins is amazing.
Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s Monster. I really like all the different shades of light that Robert uses on the Monster’s face.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon, also known as Gill-man, as played by both Ben Chapman and Ricou Browning. Ben played the creature on land, while Ricou portrayed him in the water. I can’t imagine having to carve ever gill and line on the Creature.
Lon Chaney Jr. as the Wolf-Man.
Boris Karloff again, but this time as the Mummy, Imhotep. How amazing are these pumpkins? Look at face on this pumpkin and then scroll up to the carving of Frankenstein’s Monster and look at his face. You can tell that both played by the same actor. That’s how perfect the details on these carvings are.
While this is my last pumpkin post until next October, Halloween isn’t over at Between The Pages Blog. I still have one more Halloween post this afternoon, so please come back and join the fun.
