Minecraft Railroad Birthday Cake

Minecraft Railroad Birthday Cake made with cake covered in chocolate ganache. Then covered in fondant Minecraft squares and painted. Includes train and track, waterfall, lava, tunnels, and DeLorean car. Also with fondant Minecraft figures and train cars and tracks and fondant TNT blocks. This wonderful cake was made by Little Cherry Cake Company.  This cake has so many wonderful details.

Here’s a close-up of a fondant Minecraft person standing beside the train track. The train track was also made of fondant.

First Tracey made the cake pieces and covered them in chocolate ganache.  Further in this post is the link to her video on how she did this.

Next she covered the cake with fondant panels of Minecraft blocks. 

Then she painted part of the blocks blue for a waterfall and orange for lava. In addition she colored some brown.

After that she painted the green blocks and used a sponge to make different colored blocks.  Also this shows the partially completed fondant train tracks.  She indicated that this whole cake was very time intensive.  As always she cake turned out terrific.
