I love the creativity of cake artists. I would never think of making a Cruella de Vil Christmas Cake. The only way I could see this working is to make the theme – “How Cruella de Vil Stole Christmas”. Calliope Sugar Art & Workshop did a wonderful job on this cake. It combines a 4th birthday, Cruella de Vil, Dalmatians and Christmas. This should be too busy, but it isn’t.
The cake itself is two tiers. The bottom tier is a fireplace with stockings hung above it. The top tier has a wreath hanging over it. It is centered over the fireplace. Both tiers are fondanted in a vibrant Christmas red. The cake board has three Dalmatians on it. Each Dalmatian is different and each one is wearing a Santa hat. There is a rug in front of the fireplace. Around the cake board are Christmas presents and Christmas tree ornaments.
The top of the cake has a Christmas Tree, a Christmas present, the number four, Cruella de Vil and a Dalmatian.
This cake is so much fun!
