I made these Carl & Ellie Up Anniversary Cookies for my daughter and her husband. This Up Cookie set features three cookies with Carl and Ellie. All three cookies are based on the brief scenes from the Disney Up movie that show them growing old together.
These are chocolate mint cookies and light green mint flavored royal icing covering each cookie. I hand-painted each scene onto each cookie using a combination of edible paint and edible markers.
This cookie features Carl and Ellie holding hands while lying on a picnic blanket and looking up at the sky. This is part of the Disney Up movie sequence showing their relationship through the years. To simplify the cookie, I took out the blanket and other pieces and just focused on the couple. This cookie is based on a picture by mandadoesdoodles.
In addition this next cookie is the scene where Carl and Ellie are painting the mailbox of their house. I changed the names on the mailbox to match the names of the couple. I love this scene in the movie.
Also this last cookie has portraits of Carl and Ellie looking lovingly at each other. This picture is based on the picture on the Loungefly Disney Pixar Up Carl & Ellie Wedding Scene Wallet.
