Every year around Easter, I like to feature pop culture Easter eggs. I think this is the first one I’ve featured with such an ornate hand painted stand. The stand takes an already gorgeous Easter egg and makes it look even more ornate.
I love the way Gigi photographed the egg and stand. In all three photos, she placed them in front of a mirror so that you can see both the front and back at the same time.
Here is a close-up of the egg. There is a gold circle framing the front of the egg. Ariel is leaning on a coral and holding a lavender flower in her hand. There are different plants growing around the coral. Flounder is swimming above and to the left of Ariel. Behind them is the golden spires of Atlantica.
